Vancouver Crash Data Dashboard (Tableau)

Using data from the Insurance Corporation of BC and the City of Vancouver, the Tableau dashboard shows the locations of car crashes in Vancouver over a 5 year period (2017-2021).

Data was organized by the local area boundaries set by the City of Toronto, with the addition of Stanley Park which was added manually.

Data points were assigned to their nearest area/neighbourhood using the Spatial Join (Analysis) tool in ArcGIS Pro.

The dashboard can be used to detect trends, such as the impact of COVID-19 on car crashes.
